Fourth GloPent Conference, 6-7 February 2009

Transnational Pentecostalism in Europe

Venue: Fircroft College, Bristol Road, Selly Oak, Birmingham

Facilitated by: Centre for Pentecostal and Charismatic Studies, University of Birmingham

This conference explores the increasingly important phenomenon of transnational Pentecostalism, with a particular focus on Nigerian-led churches in Europe. We invite papers for this conference on any subject relevant to the study of global Pentecostalism. Although we have finalised our plenary speakers, there are six papers available in the parallel sessions and three additional papers available for doctoral research papers from any European university. The paper proposal should reach Allan Anderson at by 30 September 2008 and include a 200 word summary of the paper. You will be advised during the month of October whether the paper has been accepted and if so, we ask that the paper be completed and sent to the above Email address by 31st December 2008.

Unfortunately, we cannot refund any expenses of those presenting parallel session papers and we hope that presenters will be able to raise the funds from the institutions they represent.
