Samuel Ruohomaki

Doctoral student at Åbo Akademi Theological faculty, specifically department of practical theology. Working on my Ph.D. thesis on the symbolic and material roles of the Finnish pentecostal pastor. Based primarily on quantitative data - empirical theology in the tradition of Van der Ven and like. Other interests include pentecostal history in Finland as well as Finnish pentecostal missions history. Forthcoming monograph on the latter and articles on the previous. Interested also in theological education, institutional development, Bible School curriculums. Lecturing on global pentecostal and charismatic movements this fall at Åbo Akademi (the Swedish-speaking university in Finland)
